Honduras migrants set up camp near US-Mexico border


Honduran families attempting to cross the Tijuana border into the US have set up tents as temporary shelter they anticipate a long wait before their claims can be processed.

This video, filmed on November 22, shows migrants near the San Ysidro Port of Entry

The US government processes 100 applications for asylum a day, a process that has slowed in recent months, leaving thousands on the waiting list.

Further reinforcements have been added along the Mexican border in recent weeks as authorities ahead of the arrival of the migrant caravan travelling towards it.
