London bus in engulfed in flames in East Sheen

Video captures the moment a double-decker London bus was engulfed in flames yesterday evening (July 23).

According to the filmer, the bus is the 337 as it's the only double-decker on that route, this hasn't been confirmed however.

A spokesman for the London Fire Brigade said in a statement: “We were called to reports of a bus alight on Upper Richmond Road at 7.13 pm yesterday. The fire was under control by 8.04pm.”

Half of a double-decker bus was damaged by the fire. There were no reports of any injuries and the cause of the fire is unknown.

"We gave the emergency services squash and ice lollies for their hard work," The filmer Lise, told Newsflare.
