Man Attacked by a Stray Wild Elephant

Occurred on March 17, 2021 / Mayurbhanj, Odisha

Info from Licensor: A stray wild elephant went on a rampage mode in a tribal village in Odisha, the elephant apparently looks strayed away from his herd and unfortunately came in contact with people's habitat, and to make matter worse a guy was attacked by the elephant. By the time villagers gathered he was already being attacked by the wild elephant. The people were able to successfully distract the elephant at the end of the video and the elephant leaves the man and runs towards the crowd which is not shown clearly in the video. The man was later admitted to a hospital his condition said to be critical but he survived, the elephant was later rescued by the animal rescue operation team and was rejoined with his herd.
