Motorbike riders carry massive logs in the Philippines

These motorcycle riders loaded up with freshly cut timber to help locals carry them away.

Rose Boyles and her family had felled the trees while clearing land near their home in Davao City, the Philippines on August 6.

They were faced with the daunting task of carrying the heavy logs by hand. But local bikers on their motocross machines were happy to help.

The seven men stacked the huge pieces of timber on either side of their motorcycles as they rode through the woodland.

Rose, who filmed the unusual scene, said: "These motorcycle riders helped us in exchange for rice. It is the harvest season and there are a lot of things that need to be done."
