Panama City neighborhood littered with felled trees in aftermath of Michael

Cleanup efforts are underway along the Florida Panhandle after Hurricane Michael, the third largest storm to hit the US, made landfall on October 10.

This video, filmed in Panama City a day after the storm, shows several felled trees in a backyard.

At least 18 hurricane-related deaths have been reported in four states as rescue crew searched through collapsed homes and rubble. Mexico Beach Mayor Al Cathey told media that 46 people were still missing or unaccounted for.

Electricity and telephone services were slowly being restored, but authorities predict weeks before power is back for all households.
