Plumes of black smoke seen as fire breaks out at school playground in Oroville, California
Firefighters responded to a blaze at the playground of Plumas Avenue School in Oroville, California on Sunday, October 14.
According to local media, the fire was reported at approximately 2:30 pm and was burning rubber mulch that was on the playground.
An official from the Oroville Fire Department said the cause of the fire is unknown, but that they consider the circumstances to be suspicious.
