Protesters rally outside White House as Trump makes TV address about 'humanitarian crisis'

Protesters rallied outside the White House Tuesday night as Trump appeared on television, demanding funding for a wall to end what he called a 'border crisis'.

Trump fueled fears of illegal immigration during the Oval Office address, citing a 'humanitarian crisis' and a pressing need for $5 billion to construct a border wall. Democrats, who recently took control of the House of Representatives - are adamantly opposed to giving him the funds.

The government shutdown is going into its 19th day, making it one of the longest in modern history.

In the video, protesters can be seen chanting "Hey hey, ho ho, Treason Trump has got to go!" as others hold up LED letters spelling 'fake crisis'.
