"Presidente!" Venezuelans surround vehicle of Juan Guaidó

Tens of thousands of Venezuelan protesters took to the streets of the capital on Saturday to try to force Nicolás Maduro from power.

According to reports, many of those present expressed hope that the end of his rule was approaching.

The protesters want Juan Guaidó to lead the country and are calling for more countries to recognise him as the rightful president.

This clip shows hundreds of his supporters surrounding his vehicle and chanting "Presidente" as he was driven away after addressing protesters

Guaidó has declared himself interim president as he tries to force Maduro from power.
