Rescuers walk through piles of rubble in aftermath of deadly Indonesia earthquake

Rescue teams continued their active search for survivors amid masses of rubble in Palu, Indonesia, where a 7.5-magnitude earthquake left more than 1,400 dead on September 28. This video shows workers walking through a site littered with the remains of fallen structures. The devastated island was also hit by the eruption of Mount Soputan in the north, sending thick columns of ash and prompting authorities to warn locals to stay away. Mass burials are underway to mourn the lives lost.
