Second typhoon in under a week heads towards Japan's Okinawa prefecture

Typhoon Kong-rey is expected to near the main island of Okinawa, a prefecture on the southern tip of Japan, on Thursday and Friday. This video shows the churning waves on the shore of a beach in Okinawa on October 4. Officials are warning people to be prepared for strong winds, high waves, mudslides and flooding. Around 200 domestic flights as well as ferries and high-speed ships to and from Okinawa have been canceled in anticipation of the storm. Kong-rey comes just days after Typhoon Trami devastated Okinawa before passing through capital Tokyo, killing at least four and injuring hundreds more.
