Robber tries to escape police climbing out of 22nd-floor window in China's Hunan


A robber climbed out of a window on the 22nd floor of a residential building to escape being arrested by police in southern China.

The video, filmed in Changsha City in Hunan Province on March 27, shows a group of police breaking into an apartment to arrest a robber named Wan who robbed a local shop owner.

After the police entered the apartment, they saw Wan hanging from the window, having gotten stuck trying to climb down the building to escape, and saved him by pulling him back to safety.

According to reports, Wan robbed the owner of a local shop with a knife and took her bank card and information. Then he withdrew around £1200 from the card.

Wan was arrested by police and the case was being investigated.
