Shocking video shows people desperately escaping blaze


A large fire broke out at a hospital in western Mumbai on Monday afternoon, leaving 146 people injured and 6 dead at most recent reports.

The conflagration occurred at ESIC Kamgar Hospital in the Andheri area of Mumbai, when firefighters received a call at around 4:00pm IST.

There were as many as 10 fire engines called out to battle the blaze while people evacuated from the building, some even fatally leaping from high windows to escape the flames.

One rescue van and 16 ambulances are also present on-site to tend to injured people.
