Strong winds from Storm Miguel batter French capital
Strong winds from Storm Miguel battered Paris on Friday toppling roadside barriers and leaving the city covered in fallen branches.
Winds of up to 147km/h hit northern Spain earlier, swirling around the Bay of Biscay and moving on to France.
The storm is unusual as it came at the start of the summer tourist season.
