This incredibly shiny stag beetle is the biggest one in Australia
The largest stag beetle in Australia and one of the most colorful Lucanidae family, Phalacrognathus muelleri, is one stunning insect. It possesses a giant set of mandibles, and its exoskeleton is remarkably iridescent. A number of morphs exist where the beetles may display a wide range of colors!
