Thousands protest against Trump's Supreme Court nominee on Capitol Hill

Demonstrators against Kavanaugh's Supreme Court nomination protested on Capitol Hill on Thursday, October 4, a response to a slew of sexual assault allegations that have come down on the controversial judge.

Local media reported that "hundreds" were arrested after police rounded them up and they refused to move, among them comedian Amy Schumer and model Emily Ratajkowski.

This video shows protestors holding up signs and chanting "Kavanaugh's not welcome here".

Kavanaugh's nomination drew nationwide criticism when multiple women began speaking out about their experience of being sexually abused by the judge. The FBI stated that an investigation into the charges were underway after Christine Blasey Ford's emotional testimony.

The Senate will hold a procedural vote on the nominee on Friday.
