Time-lapse footage shows stunning view of the Milky Way from Hawaii
This time-lapse footage shows a view of the Milky Way and the Earth's rotation over an infinity pool in Hawaii last month (April 6).
If the astronomical beauty of our galaxy wasn't enough the filmer was lucky enough to capture some shooting stars from his position on Maui.
The filmer told Newsflare: "[It was] my first Milky Way shot of the season.
"Big Island can be seen in the background, and a few shooting stars too if you're quick enough to catch them."
