Rush to grab illegal booze in Indian 'dry' state before cops show up

This is the moment residents of a dry Indian state - including several children - rushed to snatch alcohol which was to be seized by police.

On March 28, some liquor smugglers were passing through Sahu road in Muzafarpur, Bihar state, where alcohol is illegal, when some people spotted and caught them with liquor cartons in their vehicle and informed the police.

However, before police could get there, local people started looting the liquor bottles from the smugglers.

By the time the police showed up, they found only empty cartons, according to reports.
